Swing Trading Futures

The goals of this newsletter are simple, isolate trades that are relatively short-term in nature, typically 1 to 5 day swings. The focus of this report will be to identify these swings, along with price projections, potential support and resistance levels as well as protective stop-loss order placement.

The methodology and trading style are a layered synthesis of Elliott Wave pattern analysis and Fibonacci sequences. While most recommendations will be short-term in nature, there will not always be a "trade of the day". There will be times when there is a flurry of activity in the markets, followed by inevitable doldrums.

As time allows, I will be adding an occasional tutorial regarding various phases of the markets. These will be relatively short (1 to 3 pages), concise, and to the point.

Some ideas

 

 

 CTZ7---Although the LT count isn't particularly clear, the trend is unmistakable.  The current correction is clearly 3 waves, so I will look for solid support at the 6030 level, which is also the 50% level.

JYU7---Not too many folks have been watching this market, and it looks like 5 waves could be in.  I can't do anything yet, but it certainly bears watching around the 8400 +/- area.

USU7---Are we in a wave 4?   It sure looks like it so far, so I will be looking closely at the 108 level which is very close to the 62% retracement area.

SBV7---We may be VERY close to a big time support area as of today (938 to 945)..  I will be looking for buy signals in the morning
